Improving My English

Alex: Your English has gotten so much better lately. How did you do it?
Ryan: Thanks! I’ve been practicing a little every day.
Alex: Really? What have you been doing differently?
Ryan: I started watching English videos and listening to podcasts every day.
Alex: That sounds helpful. But how do you practice speaking?
Ryan: I listen carefully and try to repeat what native speakers say.
Alex: That’s a good idea. I always struggle to find the right words when I speak.
Ryan: I used to have the same problem, so I started learning useful phrases instead of just memorizing words.
Alex: Does that really make a difference?
Ryan: Definitely! It helps me express my ideas without stopping to think about every word.
Alex: I think I’ll give that a try. How long did it take you to notice some improvement?
Ryan: About two months. The key is to practice regularly and not be afraid of making mistakes.
