Lost in the Supermarket
It is Saturday afternoon. Jack goes to the supermarket with his mom. They need to buy some food for dinner.
While his mom is looking at vegetables, Jack sees some toys. He walks over to look at them. A few minutes later, he turns around, but his mom is not there.
Jack looks around, but he cannot find her. He feels scared and wants to cry. Then he remembers what his mom always tells him: “If you get lost, stay calm and ask for help.”
Jack takes a deep breath and walks over to a store worker. He tells her that he cannot find his mom. The worker smiles and asks him to wait with her.
A few minutes later, Jack’s mom comes to get him. She gives him a big hug. Jack feels happy and safe again. He is glad that he asked for help.
