A Rainy Morning

It is Monday morning. Jack gets up at seven o’clock. He looks out the window and sees heavy rain. His mom drives him to school because it is raining.

On the way to school, there are many cars on the road. The traffic is very slow because of the rain. Suddenly, two cars have an accident. No one is hurt, but the cars block the road.

Jack and his mom are stuck in traffic. Jack looks at his watch. It is already eight o’clock! He is worried because school starts at eight.
