Struggling with Schoolwork
Alex: You look stressed out. Is everything okay?
Ryan: Not really. I’ve been having a hard time keeping up with my classes.
Alex: I know what you mean. We’ve been getting so much homework lately.
Ryan: Yeah, and English is especially difficult for me.
Alex: What do you struggle with the most?
Ryan: Mostly reading and speaking. Sometimes I can’t even understand what the teacher is saying.
Alex: Have you tried asking the teacher for extra help?
Ryan: Not yet. I’m worried that I’m falling too far behind in English.
Alex: Don’t be so hard on yourself. You just need more practice.
Ryan: I guess you’re right. I really need to work harder to catch up.
Alex: We could study together after school if you want.
Ryan: That would be great. Thanks! I really appreciate it.
