Working from home has become increasingly common, with many employees choosing to work remotely rather than travel to an office every day. This arrangement offers several benefits, particularly greater flexibility and reduced commuting time, but it also has disadvantages, such as limited social interaction and difficulties in separating work from personal life.
Paragraph 2 — Body Paragraph 1（主体段一）
One major advantage of working from home is that employees can save time and money on travelling. People who work in offices often spend a considerable amount of time commuting, especially in large cities where traffic congestion is common. For example, an employee who normally spends two hours travelling each day could use that time to exercise, prepare meals or spend time with family. Another benefit is the flexibility that remote work can provide. Employees may find it easier to manage personal responsibilities, such as taking care of children, while completing their professional duties. As a result, working from home can help people achieve a better work-life balance and reduce the stress associated with daily commuting.
Paragraph 3 — Body Paragraph 2（主体段二）
However, working from home also presents several challenges. One significant disadvantage is the lack of face-to-face communication with colleagues. 5. What Students Should Learn（学习重点）

This essay follows a four-paragraph structure. The introduction presents the topic and identifies the main benefits and drawbacks. The first body paragraph explains how working from home can save commuting time and offer greater flexibility. The second body paragraph discusses the difficulties caused by reduced social interaction and unclear boundaries between work and personal life. The conclusion summarises both sides without introducing new arguments.

Remember（记住）： If the question only asks What are the advantages and disadvantages?, you need to explain both sides clearly, but you do not have to decide which side is more important. However, if the question asks Do the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?, you must make a clear judgement and support it with reasons.
