Cooking for the First Time
Sam had never known how to cook. Now she was going to live by herself, so she decided it was time to learn. She bought some cookbooks and watched videos online. She also decided to start with something simple.
The first thing she chose to learn was pasta.
First, she boiled water and cooked the pasta. Then she made a sauce with fresh tomatoes. She added pepper and chili for more flavor, and she sprinkled on some cheese. When it was ready, she ate it. She was excited to try something she made herself. It didn’t taste that good, but it wasn’t horrible. She realized she needed more practice.
